Three scarlet birds sweep across a darkening sky, wings flared and necks stretched long as they race the last of the light home.
Out past dusk, the canopy goes nearly black and anything red seems to glow. Broad leaves arch out of the shadows, and two red blooms answer the birds overhead. The sky pools into a mossy, velvety texture that's moody and romantic in equal measure.
It's a South Florida evening, slightly exaggerated in the best way. Pair it with Drifting Past the Palms for the full story.
Limited edition giclée print of the original watercolor. Edition of 50 plus 5 artist's proofs, each hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Printed at the original size on 100% cotton, acid-free archival fine art paper with archival pigment inks. Includes a certificate of authenticity. Ships unframed.
